GED0001 - ABOUT MYSELF

"About Me."
Let me take you to a beautiful place called Vigan City, the place where I was born. In February 19, 2005, I was born into this world with loving parents to hold me and guide me throughout my life. In my early years, I grew up in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur and I mostly absorbed my surroundings, being a child and doing whatever every other child was doing at the time - which was playing outside and enjoying the things we didn't even understand. I went to Narvacan Catholic School (NCS) for Nursery and Kinder, before moving to Manila to start a new life as an elementary student.
In 2011, I started studying in Laong-Laan Elementary School, up until 3rd grade which was in 2013. During my time in that public school - that I very much hated - I made a few friends that taught me to do things that I've never done before, which was a jarring experience considering that I had only recently moved here from the calm province. After 3 years, I finally got out of that place and enrolled to a different school in Quezon City, I was enrolled into a private school this time - called Sienna College. I felt quite alone in the first few days in this school, and that's when I knew that I was introverted, I couldn't engage myself in conversations and I had trouble with socializing with the other students, I think this was due to me coming from a public school which had a very different vibe, but I still made friends that I unfortunately had to leave because of reasons involving tuition.
2017 was the year I started my high-school life, as a returning student in NCS, I was in my early teens and met up with some of the friends that I had back in my nursery and kindergarten days.
They mostly spoke Ilocano in that school, and since I had been gone so long - I've forgotten how to speak it, so I tried blending back in with my old classmates by trying to speak broken and grammatically incorrect Ilocano, and as expected I only managed to make a fool out of myself, but fortunately some other new students that I've never met before decided to be friends with me. Fast forward to 2024 and I'm still friends with them, being so far apart from each other doesn't stop us from still bonding together.I've change so much time and time again, and I'm sure that I'll change some more in the future, but this I know for sure - the things I do and the people I meet will always be a part of me and I will always be thankful for that.
